Commitment
This static HTML implementation targets WCAG 2.2 AA. The goal is a site that can be understood and operated with a keyboard, screen reader, zoom, high contrast preferences and reduced motion.
Implemented features
- Skip link, semantic landmarks and logical heading order
- Visible focus treatment and 44×44px minimum controls
- Keyboard-managed mobile navigation with Escape and focus restoration
- Labels, controls and live status updates for the Human Signal and Living Foundation interactions
- Text equivalents for the Living Foundation
- Reflow from 320 CSS pixels and responsive reading widths
Motion and media
The hero background has an explicit Play or Pause control. The Human Signal and Living Foundation interactions also have labelled controls. Reduced-motion preferences remove the background video, timed movement, drift and parallax while preserving all meaning.
Testing status
The package includes structural checks and responsive browser testing. Production release should also include manual VoiceOver and NVDA testing, 200% zoom, 320px reflow, Windows High Contrast Mode and real-device touch testing.
Report a barrier
Email with the page, the issue, your browser and assistive technology when possible. Confirm the final accessibility owner and response process before production.
